Great, but theres a bug

When you change the iPad orientation, the drawing doesnt reorient. Not sure if this is by design but its not expected.

I LOVE THIS APP but..

I absolutely love concepts. You can tell its of high quality, everything is perfect. except for one thing.. my app crashes very often. I started on a drawing and later came back to it and it didnt save my progress?? I was so angry and fed up. please please pleASE fix this bug!!! thank you so much.

App unexpectedly closes

Hours of work on a sketch, and the app closed without warning and without saving my work.... Nuff said... Be warned.

THE BEST APP IF YOU ARE A DESIGNER

The future looks a lot brighter in water sports when the designs being made makes the world just a little bit more amazing. Who wants plain when the future strives for interesting and bold styles. These features express vivid colors and design to bring out the owners true intention, that being, to give this bleak world a chance to once again be original. From the design program "concepts this was only possible with the help of a friend who runs and designed the program named Dave. This genius program makes anything possible. Colors, designs, styling, its all here and I can actually render the projects over 5k pixels or higher, which makes it possible for these skimboards. Whats a skimboard you ask? Its like surfing but without the fins, and being in deep water. Ever heard of hydroplaning? Well thats basically what skimboarding is, you throw the board down on about an inch of water and jump on the board while moving causing the hydroplaning effect, speed and tricks happen and its something everyone should try. Let me design and build your custom skimboard today, these designs are not just for boards, you can use the, for anything all the way to getting a printout and hanging it above your fireplace. Art is what you want it to be, you dont have to listen to anyone, let them tell you how to make things, its all you. Just do what you want to do, create what you want to create, design the future through CONCEPTS. Great app, love the fast response to the help message section, great options that makes all the art I do happen!!! Check out my work at eastcoastskimboards.com

Becoming my most used app

Im a UX designer. I got an iPad Pro to replace my sketch pads. I thought I would use Notes or Photoshop Sketch, but then I found Concepts. Wow. It does so many things right. My favorite features right now: - Infinite canvas. I chain a lot of ideas together while Im sketching. I dont have to worry about running out of space. - Automatic layers. Different tools have different layers, so just by switching to the marker tool, Im drawing on a layer underneath the Pen tool. Wow. This saves so much time. And the auto layers can be turned on and off in case I need something specific layer-wise. - Lasso select and duplicate. Since I do a lot of iterating on an idea, being able to lasso select and tap a pop-up button to duplicate an area is great. Again, very quick, doesnt take you out of the sketching flow. I absolutely love this app. An absolute steal for such a professional app.

Fantastic app

This is better than illustrator, but for an iPad.

My first drawing program

For me there is a bit of a learning curve. I am watching the You Tube videos and they are helpful. I am not one to write a bunch of app reviews but Concepts and the tremendous product support is outstanding. This is a required app with the Apple pen and IPad Pro.

Becoming indispensable.

An amazing tool for designers, the app is well on its way to being an indispensable tool. The UI is a new approach for drawing / design apps with deep features, many wholly unique to this app. From mark-ups of images, to brainstorming doodles to highly detailed scaled drawings, the app is achieving great things. A few features still remain on my wish list like colour sampling and a little easier approach to defining line width particularly at narrow widths. Now that I am constantly using it, I find it could also use a few more file management tools to help organise all those drawings. Also should note theres been great customer support and continuous improvement in features. All in all, a great app, going in a great direction. Keep going guys...

My most used iPad app - a truly pro tool

I do UX for a living which entails a lot of UI sketching. In the paper world my go to tools are Rhodia dot grid paper, Sigma Micron pens in various sizes, and some color markers. I can translate those tools directly over to Concepts using the seven tool slots. The top 3 are various Pen sizes, slot 4 is a large fixed width stroke set to a highlight color, 5 is filled stroke set to 30% opacity, 6 is a marker, and 7 is the selection tool. This setup lets me work very fast. I love it. With paper, I like dot grids because they aren’t too visually heavy on the page. I find with Concepts, I use a regular grid because it’s easier to align things and I can toggle it on/off any time. The infinite canvas is also super handy. With paper I often get disjointed ideas because I run out of space. In Concepts, I can use as much space, in any direction, that I need. For doing art-related sketching, the pencil tool feels great, being very responsive to pressure (and you can set the sensitivity in the app). Then I switch to a pen tool and Concepts auto switches the layer making it simple to ink over the top. Add some color with the marker tool and again the layer auto switches to the marker layer, below the pen layer, making it easy to color underneath the ink. So great.

One of my 2 favs.

I love using this app, I split my drawing time between this and procreate. The only thing I would like to see is a little easier time selecting layers. It just doesnt work as smoothly for me as the rest of the app. You cant go wrong with giving this app a chance. I have downloaded and used full versions of everything available at this time. This and procreate are the only ones that I continually come back to. Still waiting for manga studio but until then ...

Always with me

Ive used Concepts on my iPad for a while but when I didnt have it with me I was stuck. Now I can jot down ideas when they pop up. Its impressive how they have made the core iPad experience work on my iPhone 6.

Fantastic tool

Im a novice artist, and find Illustrator and Photoshop unintuitive. Concepts is intuitive, powerful, and fast. iPad Pro without Concepts: meh iPada Pro WITH Concepts: Yeah!

Great tool for architects

As an architects, I use this app all the time for notes, quick concept sketching, etc. best app Ive found for this sort of thing. Dont be cheap, get pro, much better than lite version.

A designers must have!

Im an architect student/designer and this is one my favorite Apple pencil app. If you want to draw details or sketch any ideas, this is the app you want to use.

Great iPad Pro app

Well done guys.

Incredible tool, and even more so on iPad Pro

Excellent precision tools, and the various virtual "rulers" are incredibly useful and actually make very accurate illustrations possible. Its a clever blend between vector illustration and painterly image editing. I recently upgraded to an iPad Pro, and the Pencil support is very well done. Its a real pleasure to use. I highly recommend it.

Awesome App

Great tools. Responsive. Works like a charm with new iPad Pro and my iPencil.

Great product

Awesome app very easy to use

Great Drawing App!

Really need to read the directions and watch some of the YouTube videos to grasp the full power of this app. Can draw almost anything!

Easy for beginners

This is an amazing app! Easy for beginners, yet powerful for professionals. The best app for Apple Pencil. I use it every day. Hint: read the online manual and watch the tutorials in YouTube.
