nice app, for sure! but the biggest draw back is the lack of a propper export function. pdf export is not abailable and the svg export is not really reliable. Illustrators ai files would be a great alternative too.

Best app in the store for making accurate pics.

It would be nice to be able to colour fill the shapes.

I used this app to draw out renovation plans for a suite in our new house. It was addictive making all those professional looking sketches. Once I bought the pro-pack and was able to layer the sketches over pictures of the existing space. Everyone understood exactly what I was going for in my space. No worries about miscommunication with the contractor with this app on board. Thanks for a wonderful, and useful tool.

This is one of the drawing apps I have been following since its beginning, and I will say that the developers have been providing updates with enough frequency and depth to give hope. The biggest attraction for this app is, of course, its "precision drawing mode" which allows you to create guides for geometric shapes (like circles, arcs, lines etc) which you can then easily trace around using any drawing tool of your choice. Very cool idea, and one that most other apps are lacking. But the implementation is so poor that whenever I find a viable use case to revisit the app and attempt to do some production work with it, I end up giving up and using better polished tools to get the job done. Im writing this review in frustration rather than doing work, because I once again hit up against a serious implementation failure with precision mode (once youre in precision mode, two-finger panning is completely hijacked by the transform gesture and you have absolutely no way to pan around the document without losing your current "template"). Its just so stupid a usability error that I dont see the point of committing a real-world project to this app, because I will only continue to be frustrated by its poor implementation. I remain hopeful, and if you can get this app during a price drop event, I recommend adding it to your collection so you can see and judge for yourself.

I really do recommend his app for people who love to do art. One thing I really like about this app is precision mode. This mode allows you to draw straight lines and curved ones. It will be hard to work with in the beginning but you will get the hang of it. You may find there is a low variety of brushes to use but this all depends on your art piece. I recommend using a stylus with this app as using you hands wont be the best idea. Overall I think this a great app for anyone who likes to do art!

Im using this app on a IPad Pro 9.7 with Apple Pencil since one week to sketch ideas for my team. We are working on IT transformation concepts. I tried to use the other well known tools as well but for this purpose Concepts is really great. The way to put your ides on the screen is unparalleled and easy to share. What would I change: - Using the pens is somewhat not so handy if you want to use different colors or thickness etc. Predefined pens to be used would be fine. However it could well be that I just didnt recognize (yet) that there is a way to do this. - Despite the fact that it shouldnt happen but my palm is sometimes leaving dots and small lines on the canvas (minor issue). Thanks to the team creating and maintaining Concepts.

I fully agree with valen2202... I also get frustrated with the zoom in and out process and the precision tool taking over. Once that is "fixed" this will be a great app that I can use. As it is I am unable to use it for what it was made for.

The new version is very awful. Lost one brush and its so annoying and complicated to use

You guys have seriously done an amazing Job. I used to hate your app but I had faith that one day u would create something stellar and that day is here. I knew you had. Great UI but everything was all over the place but now you made it so so so much better.

Would like ability for larger brushes. Would also like more badass procedural brushes, pens, pencils.etc There is space that could be utilized for an additional brush on the menu. Would like boarders.

I am new to the iPad sketch field but so far I have found this to be an excellent tool. Very versatile and simple to navigate. I believe that the more I become familiar with its capabilities, the more impressed I will become. It is quite beyond my abilities which leaves lots of room to grow, and that in my opinion is the making of a great app.

This app has been really well designed. There are a couple little changes that I would like to see, but overall its a great app. The intuitive manipulation feature for moving lines and such around is really neat. Also, I asked a question on the facebook page for concepts and got a prompt reply. Thanks a bunch.

I have been using this app for a few weeks and I can say that this is one of the best program on the market among drawing apps. It is fast and easy to use. I use it mainly to do some sketches for my illustrations and the workflow is just great. Also the support is terrific, they answer you very quick and this is one of my main concern when I buy such a program. I have been using all Adobe apps before and this one gathers so much functions in one program that my choice has been quite easy to make. I totally recommand Concept.

I really appreciate this tool. Top marks for 1) importing and exporting capabilities, 2) the elegance of the colour wheel, and 3) the useful snap function. Features I’d love to see in future updates include 1) a paint bucket/fill tool, 2) a live smoothing setting (adjusting each line after the fact is useful but overly repetitive in practice), and 3) a transparency lock (so one can work on detailing a layer without “colouring outside the lines”)

It combines the precision of a vector app with the ease of a drawing app. Once you get used to it, drawing precisely is quick and easy.

This app is beautiful, especially for those with an interest in design or architecture, so easy to use. Please Consider Implementing PENCIL 53 SDK

Seriously though, thank you for developing what Ive been waiting for. The gap between Paper by 53 and AutoCAD has finally been bridged and this carpenter & designer could not be more pleased! Pro was worth every penny - Keep it up and looking forward to the updates & improvements!

This is a terrific update to Concepts. Many drawing apps disappoint you once you start using them. But the team has really put in the polish in this app. The new UI is wonderful and easy to use. But more importantly the engineering behind it has made it very fast and responsive. And using your Adonit touch feels even more precise than with other drawing apps.
